WorkINC – Project Moves Forward: Key Outcomes from Preveza Meeting


On June 24–25, 2025, partners of the WorkINC project met in Preveza, Greece to assess progress and plan next steps in promoting the inclusion of VET (Vocational Education and Training) trainees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • WorkINC Index: Partners advanced the development of a tool to measure how inclusive SMEs are for VET trainees. The index will address key issues such as cultural and language barriers, workplace readiness, and discrimination.
  • Inclusion Officer Training: An e-learning course is being created to train SME staff as “Inclusion Officers” who will implement and monitor inclusive practices using the index.
  • Online Platform: A digital platform will host the inclusion index and training materials, allowing both SMEs and trainees to assess and improve inclusion.
  • Dissemination & Evaluation: Plans were set for newsletters, social media campaigns, and quality assessments to ensure the project’s visibility and impact.

The meeting confirmed strong collaboration across partners and a shared commitment to building more inclusive environments for trainees across Europe.
